Matthew P. Janicki, PhD
Associate Director for Technical Assistance
Dr. Janicki is Research Associate Professor at DHD, UIC. He was director for aging and special populations for the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and is the author of numerous journal articles and several textbooks on I/DD. He chaired the US International Council on Mental Retardation and DD and the IASSID special interest group on Aging from which he received its first research award. He is the editor of IASSID’s international journal on policy and practice in intellectual disabilities.
